MoCCA Mania!

So. MoCCA Fest is next weekend. I'm starting to feel the pre-con excitement building.... A springtime full of incredibly fun and inspiring books is very close on the horizon, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be sharing it with New York City next weekend!

Join us at the 69th Regiment Armory, 68 Lexington Ave, New York, 10010. Former D+Qer Fiona Duncan and I will be wearing ye olde D+Q colours (that's right, with a U) Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7 from 11 am to 6 pm. And we're bringing some authors with us...

Miriam Katin
Adrian Tomine

And surprise last minute guest...

Lisa Hanawalt

Catch them signing at the D+Q booth, B34 & B35.

Saturday April 6:
11:30 am to 12:30 pm Art as Passion panel with Miriam Katin, Bob Fingerman, and Stan Mack, hosted by Dan Nadel
1 to 2 pm Miriam Katin signing
2 to 4 pm Adrian Tomine signing
4 to 5 pm Lisa Hanawalt signing

Sunday April 7 :
1 to 2 pm Miriam Katin signing

Guest of Honour Jillian Tamaki won't be signing at our booth, but she will be signing at the CBLDF table and we will have copies of INDOOR VOICE, her amazing Petit Livre, available for purchase. While we're on the topic, for the love of all things good, please do not miss her exhibit of artwork taking place in the MoCCA/SoI Art Gallery.

Last but certainly not least, we are kicking off the 2013 convention season with a lot of new books, which I cannot WAIT to handsell to you, fair stranger! Without further ado, let me introduce next week's VERY advance titles!

My Dirty Dumb Eyes by Lisa Hanawalt

Marble Season by Gilbert Hernandez

The Property by Rutu Modan

I can't even get into how great each and every one of these books is for fear of ruining this blog post with too many superlatives. So just trust me, quantities are limited and you are not going to want to miss out on a single one! Come on down to the Armory next weekend!
